Why everyone should try yoga at least once

Yoga has become more of an everyday tool for me rather than just a form of exercise. Settle your mind, body and soul by setting time aside to focus on what you need.

Good for your physical and mental wellbeing

Physically, yoga has helped me immensely. For years I have struggled with back pain and lower back problems. But ever since I started doing yoga only twice a week, it has become amazingly better. It is such a rewarding feeling when you can notice an improvement in your strength and flexibility. And a great bonus of being more flexible is that it improves your posture and balance too!

It goes without saying that yoga is good for your physical health. But what many don’t understand is how it can affect your way of thinking. The practice of yoga is all about showing positivity towards yourself. And the more you open yourself up to this kind of positivity, the more you will practice and crave it in your everyday life. This subtle change of thinking is like the butterfly effect – one small attitude adjustment in your life can have many positive outcomes for your future.

Re-focus and rejuvenate with yoga

Yoga, for me, is a time in the day where I can take time to focus on myself. My body. My mind. This is an excellent time to re-focus and to be grounded. It gives my mind time to sort things out without even trying. And when I’m done with a session, I feel more prepared for what’s next. When you realise that this can be a daily tool, things automatically become easier to handle

All you need to do is give it a chance

You don’t need to be the super-fit type or the meditation type to give yoga a chance. Work it into your routine and allow it to alternate your way of thinking and living for the better.
