We recently ran a survey asking women if they were interested in getting active and losing some unwanted pounds. To no surprise, they answered yes, of course! So we’ve decided to send in one of our own writers to start and complete a 21 day challenge. This challenge will consist of a healthy eating plan along with some regular exercise. By the end of it we’ll be able to tell you if you actually can get fit in 21 days.
We’ve placed her on a calorie deficit of 1200 calories per day along with a supplement to ensure that she gets the nutrients and protein she needs daily. Over the next 21 days she will need to consume 100 grams of protein per day to help build muscle mass which will in turn help her to burn more calories and burn them faster.
After a tonne of research the verdict is in and the results for the fastest way to become fit and burn fat is on a High Intensity Interval Training program, HIIT for short. She will have to participate in 3 sessions of HIIT training per week at our selected gym, Rebound Fitness.
The challenge begins on 26 April 2021 so we hope that she enjoys this weekend because it will be the last bit of freedom she’ll have for the next 21 days.
Follow her journey here to see if you can get fit in 21 days! She welcomes support, encouragement and all round laughter as we expect a lot of entertainment from those of us spectating.
