Some of the best sex is always the kind that is a little kinky and sometimes it even involves some pain and sometimes you don’t even know about it until afterwards.
That is what happened to me in a moment of intense pleasure. I got carpet burn except it was against a wall, so I guess that makes it wall burn? Either way that wall burn had fabric intertwined into my knee which I ended up pulling out with a tweezer for days afterwards.
Though I do not regret it I now carry the scar of my momentary sexcapades as a type of battle scar of that specific moment and all the good times before that. However, this poses the question, what exactly happens to our bodies when we are experiencing this intensified bliss?
Is it possible that I really didn’t notice the chafing? From what the wound looked like a few days afterward it felt that I should definitely have been aware of of it in the moment, but truth be told I noticed a bit of friction but nothing extreme enough for me to have stopped or switched position.
According to the Harvard Gazette, “Scientists have found pain in the same brain circuits that give you pleasure. … The scans showed activity not only in brain regions typically associated with pain but also in those devoted to enjoying pleasurable things like food, drugs, and sex.” So I guess I’m not crazy and this is something one’s mind can get cross circuited.
Things to learn from my experience, always keep a disinfectant a pair of tweezers and cotton bandages in your bathroom cabinet. You never know when you’ll need it and sometimes you may find yourself surprised at what you may need it for.
